It creates immense electrical resistance, which not only robs your vehicle of raw speed but causes the connector to generate extreme heat under load, frequently leading to melted plastic and catastrophic failures.

4mm and 5mm Bullet Connectors for Hardcase LiPos

In professional 1/10th and 1/8th scale RC racing (touring car, buggy, and pan car classes), hardcase batteries featuring flush-mounted internal tubes are the absolute industry standard. To connect to these packs, your ESC wires must be soldered directly to gold bullet plugs. We stock premium, heavily slotted 4mm and 5mm bullet connectors. Their high-tension spring design ensures they grip the battery tubes exceptionally tight, providing maximum surface area contact while eliminating track-side disconnects. For drivers who frequently switch between older 4mm tube packs and modern 5mm high-current packs, we also offer stepped (staged) bullet connectors that flawlessly fit both sizes without needing to resolder your ESC leads.

Reverse-Polarity Protected Plugs: XT60, XT90, and T-Plugs

For hardcore bashers, rock crawlers, and RTR enthusiasts who frequently swap batteries in harsh outdoor environments (mud, dust, and moisture), enclosed, reverse-polarity protected connectors are highly recommended. The XT60 and XT90 systems have firmly established themselves as the gold standard in this arena. Their heavy-duty nylon housings completely shroud the gold-plated contacts, permanently preventing accidental short circuits when plugging in. While XT60 connectors are perfect for demanding 2S and 3S applications, the massive XT90 plugs easily handle the extreme electrical current generated by 4S and 6S setups in heavy 1/8th scale trucks. Alternatively, we also carry the classic, ultra-compact T-Plugs (Deans style), which are an excellent choice when wiring space inside your chassis is strictly limited.
