Because of this, the majority of basher motors utilize a completely closed can design. This effectively permanently seals the internal magnets and copper windings away from destructive dirt, pebbles, and water. Furthermore, these motors typically operate as sensorless systems. By completely eliminating delicate internal sensor boards and fragile sensor wires, these motors become virtually bulletproof and entirely maintenance-free.
